Danny Burnham
Lead Pastor
Danny grew up in the New Orleans area where he and his wife Ronda were married. They have two adult sons and one granddaughter. He earned his bachelor's degree from Jacksonville University and a master's from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he is currently working towards a doctorate. He has more than 20 years' experience as a pastor in both established Southern Baptist churches and church plants throughout the southeast.
His greatest passion in ministry is helping people grow in their relationship with Christ and seeing others mature as believers. He also is committed to the idea that Christ's church should seek to have a significant impact outside the walls of the local sanctuary. His favorite verse is Romans 12:1-2. "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Lynn Grier
Music Director
A native of Savannah, GA, Lynn moved to the Titusville area in 1972, where she
and her husband found a church home at First Baptist. She has an Associate of
Arts degree in piano and voice and experience in community theater and
television. In 1984 she became the church’s Music Director after serving several
years as the church organist. Lynn leads the congregation in worship through songs prayerfully selected to coordinate with the week’s message. She says, “We have a ‘small but mighty’ choir,” senior adults, teenagers, and everyone in between.
William Merrill
Student Ministry Leader
William believes that confidence in God’s word empowers young people with confidence in every area of their life. He has worked with technology in the Bahamas and Washington DC, but for the vast majority of his career he has been at Kennedy Space Center with NASA. He and his wife Alyson are kept busy navigating life with three teenagers. William loves the family vacations which she
plans, running with his son, kayaking, family hikes, and teaching youth Bible
studies.
